ARTIST
Sue Dudill Artist, Alnwick, Northumberland
Seduced by the luminosity and grace of Northumberland, Sue returned to the UK from Ré Island in France where she continues to develop her creative skills using pen and watercolour. She draws and paints local landscapes in this stunning county in a most delicate and intimate way. Her prices are very reasonable and it’s possible to buy a painting that will embellish your home without breaking the bank!
Born in Yorkshire but now an established artist based in Northumberland, Sue offers you to a selection of original pieces inspired by the light and beauty around her. The representations are detailed, meaningful and evoke special memories for those in search of a keepsake in a captivating part of the UK. She also has a large selection of hand-drawn, painted greetings cards which may be framed afterwards and some very funny, unique pieces of cold-water swimmers bracing the North Sea! Commissions of cherished family homes, businesses and illustrations for special events are also available, each created especially for you.

Where to find me:
First of all, at my studio in Alnwick park here and I am directly opposite – impossible to miss! Just make sure I am in first!
Next: a special date for your diary: on the 12th and 13th of September I am proud to be exhibiting at Staithes Festival of Arts & Heritage. It is a fabulous free annual event with so much to do and see. I will be based upstairs in Betsy & Bo’s traditional sweet shop on the High Street near Kipper’s Corner, a stone’s throw away from the beach. Here is my bio on their website. What’s not to like about North Yorkshire?
From April to December I have the pleasure of working with Northcrafted Artisan Markets across North Tyneside and North Northumberland; notably indoors in Cullercoats, situated on the coast nestled between Whitley Bay to the north and Tynemouth to the south, in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea a seaside town with a sweeping bay in Northumberland and in the village of Longframlington ideally placed between Morpeth and Rothbury . Check out my social media to find out where I am next or contact me directly.
