MY PURPOSE is to be a source of inspiration and ideas, motivating others into taking action to help make a difference in their own lives and the lives of others.
Tutor
CELTA and IHCYL qualified, Sue has taught English as a foreign language (EFL) and English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) both in the UK and abroad. She first created a language café in a deprived area of the north of England to help those with fewer opportunities and then in France for an entirely different kind of clientele where she lived and worked for a number of years.
Trainer
Working passionately with young people for over 20 years, Sue operated on a local, national and a European level within a diverse range of projects based on non-formal education in the Erasmus+ Youth Programme. She was a Sending Organisation for the European Voluntary Service (EVS), a freelance trainer, a member of the UK National Agency’s Trainers’ Pool and an Expert Assessor of funding applications.
Artist
Seduced by the light and beauty of Northumberland, Sue returned to the UK after a number of years as a professional artist on Ré Island in France. She continues to develop her creative skills using pen and watercolour by drawing and painting local landscapes in a most delicate and intimate way. House portraits and other commissions undertaken.
